35-19 Water Engineering Technician: The City of Stillwater is seeking applicants for Engineering Technician for the Water Utilities Engineering Department. This role will assist the Water Utilities Engineering department and other City departments in the performance of various engineering and surveying related duties. This position is part of an Engineering Technician progression classification that fills the position at the level commensurate with candidate’s education, training and experience.

Requirements: Tech I: Valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, two years of related engineering and/or surveying skills, demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, Microstation, or other common CAD software. Experience with ESRI GIS software preferred.

Tech II: Valid driver’s license, graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Surveying or related engineering field, four years of progressively responsible and varied engineering work experience, two years experience with Autocad, Microstation, or other common CAD software, one year experience with ESRI GIS software.

Tech III: Valid driver’s license, graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, construction Management, Surveying or related engineering field, four years of progressively responsible and varied engineering work experience, three years experience with Autocad, Microstation, or other common CAD software, two years experience with ESRI GIS software, must have possession of a Certified Technician certificate for Civil Engineering Track by the National Institute for Certification of Engineering Technologies (NICET) and/or Surveyor in Training certificate by the State of Oklahoma. Starting salary: Tech I - $36,379.20, Tech II - $38,584.00, Tech III - $40,955.20 plus comprehensive benefits package. A cover letter, resume and completed City of Stillwater application are required for consideration. Closing date: 4/30/19
