| Job Summary | The Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Support Associate II position to support the faculty and staff of our fast-paced research center. The CCTS helps campus research professionals meet their goals and improve health outcomes across Kentucky communities. Since its inception in 2006, the CCTS has invested millions of dollars into research funding and trainee support at the University of Kentucky through its commitment to funding innovative, early stage translational research. The CCTS's vision is to catalyze clinical and translational discoveries through an integrated and transformative research environment targeting improved health, with emphasis on underserved populations in Kentucky. In support of that vision, the Administrative Support Associate II role will serve as a team member of the CCTS Clinical Research Dev & Ops Center. The Administrative Support Associate II will manage the workflow of the front desk of our clinic. Essential job functions include: prioritize and manage resources to ensure front desk operations run smoothly, manage supply levels for all resources used within the clinic, ensure participant payments are managed and entered according to study protocols and register and schedule patients for the clinic. We are a fast-moving clinic and can see up to 20 patients or more a day. Successful candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have great customer service skills, excellent communications and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work as team member. | Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Microsoft Office Windows, Excel, proprietary software (RABIT service center billing system, WebCAMP scheduling/tracking system, other software for workflow/tracking as determined by CCTS administration). |
