KPMG IT services help the organization to adopt technological solutions by leveraging existing technology while also exploring the opportunities presented by cloud computing, mobile devices and other emerging technologies, in turn facilitating delivery of professional service and values to our clients.
We are looking for an experienced System Architect, specializing in network infrastructure to join our IT Platform team in Hong Kong. This role involves collaborating with team members to manage and optimize the firm's network systems, supporting network devices, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for all business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, on-site support for core network services including office WiFi, VPN, Internet, and global connectivity.
- Implement and manage compliance measures, addressing vulnerabilities on-site and meeting strict security deadlines.
- Oversee network devices in the Hong Kong datacentre, including setup, configuration, lifecycle management, and renewals, following established protocols.
- Lead critical network upgrades and projects for the HK datacentre, ensuring efficient execution and minimize business disruption.
- Maintain internal technical documentation, such as diagrams and configuration.
- Manage priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to operational changes.
- Ensure all operations comply with company standards and regulations, including ISO27001.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- 2+ years' experience in network operations or architecture.
- Experience with Cisco product family is an advantage.
- Track record of addressing security vulnerabilities and meeting compliance deadlines.
- Work outside regular hours as required for vulnerability remediation and network initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and team player.
- Familiar with ITIL framework (advantageous).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft M365, and AWS is an advantage.
- Understanding of GenAI technologies is a strong plus.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for IT Consultant role.
