CAA is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Building Inspector for one of our clients approximately 20 miles from the City of McDonough, GA Responsibilities include conducting field inspections of private and public construction projects, structural, plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical installations, to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and regulations. Additionally, candidates must be experienced with plan review and will be expected to assist at the permit counter.

Requirements

The successful candidates will demonstrate experience in residential/commercial structural building inspection and/or combination inspection with additional experience in any of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, mechanical installations and/or inspections; grading and right-of-way construction and/or inspection, working as a lead worker, or in an administrative or supervisory capacity.

Certifications

Candidates must possess ICC Certification as a Building Inspector. Ability to obtain ICC Certification as a Residential Plumbing and Mechanical Inspetor OR Combination Inspector certification within six months of hire.
