What Your Job Will Be Like
The Center 200 business team is seeking a proven leader to join the lab-level Digital Transformation (DT) initiative as a primary business subject matter expert. This position will work closely with the Centers 200/2900 Directors, multiple Senior Managers and various program/project leads across several divisions to achieve Digital Engineering goals and milestones. Success in this role requires someone that is energized by challenges, comfortable with ambiguity, and a tenacious self-starter with a bias toward action. Short and longer-term responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the Digital Engineering (DE) Lab initiative framework to integrate comprehensive cost plans and monitor financial expenditures.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to leadership to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
- Oversee procurement activities, including the acquisition of software licenses.
- Integrate efforts with ND PMO counterparts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and project timelines.
- Manage various data requests and presentations.
- Lead future funding efforts, including indirect sizing, FYNSP, and/or investment funding.
- Respond to ad-hoc financial requests for Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) studies to evaluate potential project options and outcomes.
- Lead AoA efforts for tool and workflow options to provide information for executive decisions.
- Develop sustainability requirements plan to ensure DE is affordable and feasible in the future.
- Partner with 10500 to ensure long term DE operations and maintenance is sustainable.

- Address a range of business-related inquiries from the Indirect Program Office (IPO), Digital Transformation Senior Steering Group (DTSSG), and ND PMO to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Engage with the integration team and relevant project teams to develop resource-loaded cost plans that align with project objectives.
- Assist in assessing IT infrastructure requirements to determine the appropriate hardware needs and funding.
The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.
Salary Range
$117,500 - $199,700
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require
- Master's degree in business administration, plus 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Experience and expertise in financial policies, procedures and tools for both Direct and Indirect funding.
- Experience successfully leading cross-divisional projects.
- Experience serving Executive Management.
- Current, active DOE Q security clearance or equivalent (eg; DOW Top Secret)

- Ability to execute under pressure, ensuring accountability and delivery in ambiguous environments.

About Our Team
The ND Systems Business & Program Operations team delivers business support, project planning and controls, and operations management for Sandia's Nuclear Deterrence Directorate. We collaborate with technical partners to manage financial resources, enable project execution, and drive data-driven decision making in service of the Labs mission.
Department 10324 provides business operations support to Nuclear Deterrence Centers 200, 300, 500 and 2900.
Posting Duration

Security Clearance
Sandia is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, law enforcement records, and employment/education verifications.
