UW-Milwaukee Design and Build Camp Student Application - 2026
Thank you for your interest in the UW-Milwaukee Design & Build Camp!
To participate in the program, you must be a part of the class of 2027 or 2028 from an MPS high school, complete this application, and submit.
Rising juniors and seniors, you can help design the future! Join the UW-Milwaukee Design & Build Camp - spend two weeks this summer engaging in hands-on, design, engineering, and construction experiential learning. With guidance from UWM faculty, college teaching assistants, community partners, and STEM professionals, campers will delve into how engineering and architecture are used in the real world. Campers will design, engineer, and construct a project to beautify a Milwaukee Neighborhood.
Additionally, participants will participate in college and career readiness sessions, taking a path toward post-secondary success. MPS rising juniors and seniors who will be 16 or older by June 22 are eligible to apply!
Camp dates: June 22 - July 3, 2025, 9AM-4PM weekdays
Location: UW-Milwaukee campus
Fees: There is no fee for the camp, thanks to our sponsors and partners - the Milwaukee Public Schools, the MPS Foundation, the UW-Milwaukee College of Engineering & Applied Science, the Milwaukee Area Technical College, Employ Milwaukee, and the Nadella Scholars Program, funded by Satya Nadella '90 and Anupama Nadella.
