- Division Head of Hospital Medicine
Description
Oregon Health & Science University, a leader in academic medicine and research, in the heart of Portland, Oregon seeks a Division Head of Hospital Medicine to join and lead our team.
The Division Head will be responsible for full program development and oversight, including the Division's clinical, educational, and research program activities for a group of innovative, engaged and collaborative physicians. Driving sustainable growth and collaboration across clinical services, championing faculty careers, mentoring junior faculty and fellows, advancing quality improvement initiatives, and escalating scholarship are notable priorities. This role is responsible for shaping the Division's long-term vision while fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation.
The ideal candidate will be an inspirational, strategic, collaborative, and accomplished physician (MD/DO or MD/PhD or equivalent) with proven leadership in a complex academic institute and a track record of high-impact scholarship. They will possess an ethos of servant leadership, joy, teamwork, and transparency, and deep belief in the academic mission.

The OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM) is comprised of academic and clinical hospitalists at both OHSU and Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) and serves as the largest acute care/inpatient service at both sites.
