Job Summary:
In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely. #LI-SM2
Major Responsibilities:
Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff within the area of responsibility.
Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders’ involvement.
Planning
Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
Safety / Quality
Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements
Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
Technical
Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.
Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.
Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in semiconductor, EV battery, data centers, or Pharmaceuticals preferred.
Hands-on implementation of AWP and OSM strategies; experience with project setup, system turnover, and completion preferred.
Proficiency with digital execution tools, 4D/5D planning, and analytics preferred.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Owns safe, code-compliant electrical execution—expert knowledge of power distribution, grounding, raceway, cable, terminations, testing, and energization, with zero tolerance for uncontrolled energy.
Plans and sequences electrical work—coordinates underground, supports, rough-in, pull, term, test, and energize activities to protect access and the critical path.
Leads electrical craft and subcontractors—sets production targets, enforces standards, manages manpower curves, and develops foremen and general foremen.
Controls quality and productivity—understands labor units, pull planning, material availability, and rework drivers; intervenes early when performance drifts.
Integrates with the project team—coordinates tightly with mechanical, piping, controls, commissioning, and the client to enable safe, phased turnover and energization.
