The Jackson Laboratory (JAX), one of the world's leading nonprofit biomedical research organizations, is at the forefront of genetic and genomic research, combining animal, cell-based, and computational modeling strategies to understand and address human health. We are seeking accomplished faculty at all ranks to join our mission-driven research community at our research campus in Farmington, CT. JAX-Genomic Medicine boasts a unique blend of dynamic and established scientists from around the world, united in pursuit of a common goal: to translate genetic discoveries into improvements in human health.

Requirements
Professional Qualifications
- Candidates with Ph.D., M.D., or DVM. degree, and relevant postdoctoral training will be considered.
- Demonstrated potential to develop a strong externally funded research program.
- Candidates for the Associate and Full Professor ranks must have a distinguished record of published research, demonstrating significant impact on the profession, and success at securing funding to support research programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and collaboration is essential.
- Prior successes in and desire to contribute to team projects on an ongoing basis is required.
- Experience presenting at conferences and workshops.
- Strong track record of peer-reviewed publication in reputable scientific journals.
- Successful record of mentoring and/or teaching.
