Investment Trainee Program

We are seeking for young talented individuals to join our 2 year investment trainee program. The program is designed to prepare candidates to further advancement in investment teams. With full training and ongoing mentorship, this role is the perfect platform to build a thriving career in investment analysis and trader afterwards.

Through the program, trainee will gain in-depth knowledge and skills through a structured training programme tailored for graduates with no or less prior experience in global financial market.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Investment Trainee program which need to conduct detailed fundamental and quantitative research projects as directed by competent Portfolio Managers.
• Join our portfolio operation team as part of investment department.
• Handle all aspects related to daily investment operations, including cash management, monitor and reconcile daily cash-flow, portfolio management, trade reconciliation, order placing etc.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and carrying out any other duties and responsibility as assigned by management.
• Assist in writing comprehensive reports on research ideas; investment themes, data analysis; industry/company breaking news;

Requirements:

• Fresh graduates or less than 3 year working experiences;
• Masters or PhD in finance engineering, accounting, applied mathematics, computer science from recognized universities
• Strong numerical and analytical skills and problem-solving ability;
• Well-organized and detail-oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication, and interpersonal skill;
• Candidates with programming and quantitative analysis background or with thorough understanding of the principles of stock valuation is preferred;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
