Meaningful Work From Day One
Work within assigned Regions to meet technology and process needs and to share best practices with other Regions within Brown-Forman. Work with Global IT to understand, articulate, and prioritize initiatives. Establish the use of corporate technologies within Regions. Manage a team of technical resources.
What You Can Expect
Basic Functions:
- Perform analysis of regional technology needs and work with Global IT to understand best practices for both commercial processes and corporate technologies used in other markets. Manage the implementation of these new processes and technologies within assigned regions in a manner that provides scalability and security with our corporate systems. Improve the use of technology in the regions. Identify opportunities and gaps for future systems.
Responsibilities:
- IT process leadership - Negotiate and coordinate project priorities with global IT teams when resources from outside regional teams are needed. Ensure employees within regions are informed about, and adhere to, IT processes. Implement changes to IT processes within regions.
- Business process improvement - Work with both the region's commercial leadership and with colleagues around the globe to understand how process and technology changes can enhance our sales and marketing teams around the world.
- CRM - Partner with global leadership to implement the regional components of our sales force automation strategy. Collaborate with sales teams and global IT to enhance processes and technologies that improve sales efficiency, configure and customise Salesforce, manage data loads, build reports and dashboards, provide technical support and training to end-users, manage users, permissions and system security and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth and effective CRM operations.
- Project management - Manage regional IT projects and represent IT in other commercial business projects within the region. Coordinate roles and responsibilities with Project Manager(s) assigned to global commercial and IT projects.
- Analytics - Work with global leadership and internal IT groups to define needs, manage and implement analytics projects. Support ongoing efforts as needed.
- Collaboration - Understand and enable the use of the company's many collaborative technologies within and across the commercial business teams. Enhance our collaboration with our distributor partners in regions.
- Execution - Ensure the implementation of IT initiatives in multiple regions, working with both the local and global IT teams. Assist other parts of IT in their implementations over time (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Support and Training - Manage the support and training of new systems as they are rolled out within the regions. Provide a link between global IT, the global help desk and assigned regions.
- Adoption - Drive continuous digital transformation through adoption of technologies. Provide technical mentorship within the region driving the creation of change champions.
- Vendor management - Engage approved IT vendors for delivery of Commercial Technology projects as needed, managing scope and deliverables. Ensure the vendor adheres to Brown Forman standards and policies, maintaining a spirit of business partnership.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 Years of CRM experience
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CRM implementations
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
- Proven ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions across all levels of the Region, including senior management, business system users, technical personnel and consultants
- Process thinking - demonstrated ability to solve businesses needs and opportunities, first with improved process design, and then enhanced with technological toolsets.
- Business Planning - prior experience with commercial business planning processes and systems.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, all levels of employees and management
- Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
- Has a process mindset with a good understanding of operations disciplines and project delivery, including experience with agile methodology
- Strong experience in supervising and providing guidance/ direction in task completion and team skill development.
- Fluent in English and Japanese
