About the Role:
We're looking for a Laboratory Operations Manager on the Biologics Research team to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Senior Director, Research, you'll support the Insmed Research and Development Labs located in Lebanon, NH. Responsibilities may include purchasing, contract coordination, receipt of goods, sourcing specialized reagents and materials, general vendor interface, preparation of reagents, equipment maintenance, scientific support for experiments, and other activities as needed.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Onboard and interface with vendors, including coordinating vendor onboarding, CDAs, MTAs, SoWs, etc.
- Order, receive, and stock lab supplies and equipment
- Support liquid nitrogen and gas supplies
- Maintain chemical inventory as part of the chemical receiving process and coordinate periodic physical inventory
- Maintain equipment, certifications, and service contracts
- Support scientists with purchasing and setting up new equipment
- Support building and equipment repairs - work with Insmed Facilities, Property Manager, and vendors as required
- Help coordinate operations and logistics of lab expansions/moves
- Coordinate hazardous waste pick-ups and disposal or pick-up of biological waste per facilities guidelines
- Coordinate materials shipping to other Insmed sites and 3rd parties
- Experimentally contribute in the laboratory, as needed, supporting current and future programs, including but not limited to protein purification, immunology, cell biology, virology, and molecular biology
Who You Are:
You have a BS degree along with 12+ years of experience in laboratory operations in industry.
You are or you also have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn Insmed procurement and contract systems
- Hands-on, strong experience multitasking among numerous high priority activities
- Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Highly organized and task-driven with a proven record and attention to detail
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with Oracle, Jaggaer, Concur, and similar procurement and contract systems preferred
- Experience with cell biology / molecular biology / immunology preferred, as this role also will also support scientists experimentally as-needed due to the dynamic nature of the position
Where You'll Work
This role is based out of our Lebanon, NH office and requires full-time, in-person presence to support hands-on collaboration, access specialized equipment, and/or operational needs.

Pay Range:
$127,000.00-165,500.00 Annual
