Description
| Metric Engineering is seeking a motivated and skilled MidLevel Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect to support the design and delivery of impactful public and private sector projects across Florida. In this role, you’ll contribute to project production, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and expand your technical expertise while helping create vibrant, resilient places statewide. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problemsolving and has the technical skills to work independently with oversight, values teamwork, and is ready to take on increasing responsibility in a supportive environment. You’ll have the flexibility of remote work while staying connected to a team that prioritizes communication, collaboration, and professional growth. Licensure is not required for this position. Occasional statewide travel may be required for site visits, client meetings and company events. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Accredited degree in Landscape Architecture or qualifying experience under a licensed Landscape Architect.
- 5–7 years of experience working on landscape architecture projects in Florida
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of municipal codes and permitting requirements. Ability to research, interpret and apply them where you are not already familiar with them.
- Strong graphic, technical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment and communicate clearly.
- Problemsolving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Technical skills sufficient to work independently with guidance and direction from others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lumion and InDesign.
- Basic irrigation design experience.
- Landscape Architecture licensure is not required, but the ability and desire to pursue one is a plus.
