Job Description Summary
Lead Software Engineer - Cloud (Amazon/Azure)Sunbelt's Lead Software Engineer is equipped for success so we can make it happen for our customers.The Lead Software Engineer is empowered to serve as a developer, a technical lead and a product innovator. This experienced engineer will influence development solutions and best practices for the Software Engineering team. The Lead will be responsible for implementing features and user interfaces for multiple Sunbelt Rentals digital products. Acting as the technical lead in project workstreams, this role will work closely with design, product strategy and subject matter experts in various areas of the business to listen, research and develop right-sized solutions. Ultimately, the lead engineer acts as technical lead on product teams, developing code, assisting engineers across disciplines in the tech stack, sizing work effort estimates and project planning so teams can accurately forecast and get quality work done.Education or experience that prepares you for success:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant engineering field or equivalent work experience5+ years of relevant object-oriented application building experience in a professional environment3+ years of recent experience as a build and deployment engineer using industry standard tools5+ years of experience setting up and configuring build servers and build agents3+ years of direct experience and proven success in Cloud (Amazon/Azure) technologies providing design, support and management within a large-scale organizationKnowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:Relational databases such as SQL Server, MSSQL, MySQL or similar technologiesCoding skill in C#, Node.js, React and JavaScript frameworksJenkins and other build/deploy toolsContainer technology, like Docker, Kubernetes and the growing ecosystemWorking closely with GitTest automation and test-driven development and behavior-driven developmentVirtual application delivery technologies and virtual desktop infrastructuresIndustry standard system architecture and system management toolsSupporting and documenting build and configuration changes throughout environmentsAgile/Scrum development cycle environmentSafety is key to our culture:The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range: $98,573.00 - 135,537.60

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following paid time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement):
