About the Role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in supporting both sustaining products and new product design transfers in a regulated manufacturing environment. This individual will lead and support manufacturing process development, fixture and tooling design, process validation, and continuous improvement efforts-serving as a technical bridge between design, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
This is an individual contributor role ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and applying sound engineering judgment to ensure manufacturability, quality, and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
- Support Design Transfer from development through production.
- Participate and/or lead design and manufacturing change control activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues using root cause and failure analysis.
- Support process validation, equipment qualification, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and suppliers on improvements.
- Lead DFM/DFA activities to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Manufacturing Engineering experience, preferably in medical devices or a regulated industry (this role is open to new grad engineers with meaningful intern experience)
- Experience with design control, process validation, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
