Job TitleManufacturing Engineer
Job Description
In this role as a Manufacturing Engineer , you will focus primarily on supporting and improving the processes for transducer manufacturing. The fast-paced environment places emphasis on a first-time right approach, as such in-depth knowledge of product design, root-cause analysis and regulatory compliance.
Your role:
- Develop and implement new methods of manufacturing including the use of automation.
- Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing and quality problems, including yield and nonconforming product. Drive corrective action with appropriate and detailed follow up.
- Identify, analyze, and implement cost reduction projects, cycle time improvements, and lean manufacturing techniques to improve product cost structure.
- Develop and execute design and process verification activities, including statistical analysis, similarity, and testing.
- Work collaboratively with R&D to develop new processes and transition new transducers designs into manufacturing.
- Identify, specify, and coordinate installation of new manufacturing equipment and upgrades for process improvement.
- Complete process validation for new equipment.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- You've acquired minimum of 3 years of experience applying engineering principles in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Your skills include Project Management, deep understanding of manufacturing principles, strong Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and statistical methods (Process capability, SPC, Trend Analysis); Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt/ Shainin certification preferred)
- You're an effective communicator, with proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional environment, build trusting relationship with stakeholders and the ability to provide technical leadership in ambiguous situations.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in NY is $96,000 to $152,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Reedsville.
