Geisinger Medical Center Muncy in Muncy, PA needs a Medical
Laboratory Scientist to perform routine activities and analytical testing procedures in an accurate, precise, and timely manner; conduct
specimen handling and processing; analyze laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results; report and maintain records of
patient test results in accordance with laboratory procedures;
recognize discrepancies in patient orders; resolve and report problems and solutions as appropriate; enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer applications for storage; maintain records of testing samples, analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and review and release procedures; perform and record instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control; and
replenish reagents and supplies according to established protocols. Must have a bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or closely related degree. Must hold AMT or ASCP or state license.
