Description

As a full time, paid Project Engineering Intern at Gits Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Engineering team to assist in project and design work.

• Creates &/or modifies product designs & drawings using CAD tools, product data management systems, and risk analysis tools.
• Verifies designs through engineering calculations, modeling, and/or simulations such as CFD and FEA.
• Assist in engineering tool creation and process mapping.
• Assist in technical problem solving.

• A student of Junior or Senior academic standing, pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team
• Upholds organizational values and integrity
• Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and accuracy.
• Willing to be located onsite at GITs Manufacturing in Urbandale, IA
