Quality Control Laboratory Technician

LLOYD, Inc., a local pharmaceutical manufacturer in Shenandoah, IA is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting chemical and physical tests on samples, preparing solutions, operating technical equipment and instruments, maintaining accurate written records, and assisting other analysts, as needed.

Candidates should be able to follow written and oral instructions, use a calculator to perform basic math, have effective writing and communication skills, be knowledgeable with or have experience using computers (MS Excel and Word), and should be able to work independently. Preference is given to candidates with previous Quality Control experience, and those with experience, training, or a degree in a chemical, physical or biological science.
