We are working with a growing, entrepreneurial infrastructure developer and investor. The team has an excellent track record and the Senior Associate/VP role is broad. What the job involves

• Accountable for the bid development process, from opportunity identification to bid submission
• Identify project risks and devise appropriate risk management plans
• Manage the overall development timeline and progressing bid deliverables
• Formulate and implement development strategies to maximize commercial outcomes
• Develop resourcing models and bid budgets in conjunction with the senior team members
• Oversee consultants, especially design and technical consultants to optimize and value-engineer proposals in accordance with the technical requirements and specifications
• Work closely with the project finance team to optimize commercial model inputs
• Provide support to the financing team in bank negotiations
• Collaborate with the legal team on the development of project documentation
• Lead the negotiations of commercial agreements
• Prepare and present project briefs and investment memos to management and executive committees
• Identify and assess new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic interests
• Engage with potential investors and partners, including identifying potential collaborations

Who we are looking for

• Experience in project development, infrastructure investments, or construction management
• Experience as transaction lead on 4+ PPP bid submissions
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of project financing and debt raising process
• Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in managing PPP bid submissions
• Strong understanding of legal and commercial aspects of project documentation
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse and assess risks and returns
• Proven ability to think creatively, develop new logics, and solve complex problems in innovative ways
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Proactive thinking to anticipate and resolve potential issues
• Experience in project development, private equity, M&A or investment banking would be a significant advantage
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or similar fields
• PMP and other professional designations considered an asset
