My client is seeking a seasoned developer with deep expertise in building ultra-low latency systems using modern C++. This role involves close collaboration with trading teams to deliver high-performance infrastructure that drives execution excellence across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement execution engines, order routing frameworks, and messaging infrastructure.
• Partner directly with trading stakeholders to enhance execution strategies and system responsiveness.
• Apply advanced systems and network programming techniques to minimize latency and maximize throughput.
• Develop tools and interfaces for historical data analysis and simulation environments to support research and testing.
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of automated testing suites and performance benchmarking tools.
• Translate trading requirements into scalable technical solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a trading-focused development role.
• At least 10 years of cumulative professional software engineering experience.
• Academic background in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong command of C++ with emphasis on:
  • Modern standards (C++17/C++20)
  • Multi threading and asynchronous programming
  • Efficient data structures and algorithm design
• Deep understanding of Linux internals and network stack optimization.
• Proven experience in developing real-time, low-latency systems for equities and futures trading.
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and research support.
• Familiarity with evaluating and tuning execution algorithm performance.
