Referral Eligible   Salary Range 158,000 168,000 Summary:  The Software Engineer (SWE) will provide functional and empirical analysis in support of the design, development, and implementation of software systems. This role supports a wide range of software solutions and engineering activities and is a full-time, on-site position located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).  Job Qualifications: Minimum of nine (9) years of professional experience within the last fifteen (15) years.Experience providing functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including application software, utility software, development tools, and diagnostic software.Experience participating in the development of test strategies, test devices, and system-level testing activities.Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems or manage the resolution of engineering problems within the assigned functional area.Experience supporting software engineering efforts across the full software development lifecycle.  Education/Experience include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another Engineering or Technical discipline. Working Conditions: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full time position  Clearance Type: Requires a current TS/SCI.
