Job Purpose and Impact
Starch Packaging Operator will operate, perform maintenance and troubleshoot a series of machines and equipment with interaction of several process variables to produce product with broad knowledge of policies and procedures and regular guidance. In this role, you will maximize throughput and produce quality product while following all food safety and regulatory polices.
Key Accountabilities
- Operate packaging machines include robotic palletizer
- Learn operating procedures, receives input from peers and may provide feedback on clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation to pursue continuous improvement of facility operation
- Use hand and power tools to perform preventative and autonomous maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues, escalating complex machine issues
- Monitor equipment, operate control, process samples, adjust machine processes using selectivity and judgement and utilize computer systems to input and record data.
- Set up and operate control systems for a series of machines requiring interaction of several variables.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Diploma degree (D3) in mechanical, industrial, chemical, food, or other relevant engineering field or manufacturing
- Demonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with food industries equipment and processes
- Demonstrated high level of problem solving ability to make decisions independently
