| Position Summary | The primary role of this position is to provide information and assistance for all functions associated with the Registrar's Office via phone, in-person, or email interaction. These include but are not limited to, admission to the university, registering for classes and all policies and procedures related to student records. The position will provide service to not only the current student population, but prospective students, faculty and staff as well as alumni and community members. This position will also provide program or process oversight for one or more specific business operations such as special program enrollment, residency classification assistance, official enrollment verification, transcript or educational record procurement, or special appeal exceptions. The position will be responsible for accurately creating, posting, maintaining and preserving the integrity of official student academic records. |
| Minimum Qualifications from Classification | Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An Associate's degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology AND one year of general clerical experience. Note: College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. |

| Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement | The starting salary rate for this position will be between $19.35 and $21.91 per hour. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. PSU's excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities |
