Description
VP FINANCE & REGULATORY TRANSFORMATION (M/F)Our client is looking to hire a Vice President responsible for Finance and Regulatory Transformation, reporting to the Managing Director of Finance in Luxembourg. You will drive the company's digital transformation, bridging business and technology to optimize processes, support strategic initiatives, and enhance decision-making.
THE JOB:
- Collaborate with business teams (Finance and Legal and Compliance) to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into actionable insights and functional specifications
- Identify inefficiencies and gaps in processes, systems, and organizational structures, proposing innovative solutions to address these challenges
- Document workflows, use cases, and test plans; manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and stakeholder approvals
- Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed initiatives (determine ROI in conjunction with business teams), prepare and update technology heatmap, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives
- Monitor the performance of transformation initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and realignment to maximize impact
- Plan and manage work sprints in collaboration with Technology team
- Coach and manage offshore teams, collaborate with Technology to ensure seamless execution
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization, acting as a trusted liaison between local business teams and Technology counterparts
- Work closely with data governance officer, data engineers, offshore consultants and Technology teams to ensure seamless data integration across platforms
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a very good knowledge of investment funds and AIFM regulations and in Finance (within the alternative fund industry)
- Expertise in business analysis techniques: strategy, feasibility assessment, change management, and process analysis
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships across all organizational levels Strategic mindset with a focus on aligning solutions to business objectives
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and workflow systems (Appian). Familiarity with Prince2, Agile, or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Comfortable working with data, systems, and technology platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a forward-thinking attitude and a drive to identify and address business needs.
