Bidder Eligibility
This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for a one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years.
Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.
This job posting is at the Senior level and promotions are permitted on this requisition. Therefore, movement to a higher career level within the same FLSA status, a change in FLSA status (non-exempt to exempt), or movement to a position with a higher market band is allowed.
Employees, excluding student interns, must remain in their current position for one year from their hire date before bidding on a new job. However, the hiring manager may obtain approval to consider a candidate before the one-year requirement is met via the review process. This approval must be secured prior to being interviewed for a posted position. The application of this requirement will not supersede collective bargaining agreements. Please refer to the collective bargaining labor agreements for eligibility requirements for represented bidders.

What Your Job Will Be Like
HR Solutions - Talent Acquisition, is currently seeking a Human Resources Operations Generalist to join their team!
The selected candidate will work closely with hiring managers, applicants, and HR Partners to process hiring actions. These actions will include sending interview invitations, authorizing travel, requesting pre-hire documentation, generating offer letter packages, sending reporting instructions, and tracking pre-employment offer contingencies (e.g., Official Transcripts, Drug Screen Results, Pre-employment Background Review Results).
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
Work within the Oracle Service Cloud case management system and access information in multiple systems on the computer
Respond to phone and online inquiries to resolve TA-related questions and issues
Perform administrative tasks such as collecting required information/documentation from employees, managers, and/or others in HR (e.g., performing data entry, sending documents and correspondence, and filing of records)
Assist HR Solutions team members as needed
Perform I9 collection, verification, processing, and HR records data entry
Regularly work in a high volume and fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy while meeting strict target dates
Efficiently fulfill commitments by managing workload
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and work on special HR assignment and projects
This position is eligible for telecommuting and the selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.
Salary Range
$48,500 - $89,000
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require
A High School diploma; plus 3 year of relevant experience
Experience in customer service
The ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance
Qualifications We Desire
An Associate's degree or a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, English, Psychology, Marketing/Sales, or a related field
Experience in Human Resources or a closely related area
A positive demeanor, strong communication skills, and keen attention to detail
The ability to team well with others
The ability to protect and keep personally identifiable information (PII) confidential
Experience working within a case management system (e.g., Oracle Service Cloud)
Experience with an HRIS (PeopleSoft or Oracle HCM preferred)
Experience in a shared service environment
Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
An active DOE L-level security clearance; or other equivalent active security clearance such as DOD Secret

NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
