Recruitology seeks a data-oriented individual who is eager to learn and work with Recruitiology’s management team on various business analysis projects that will better inform business operations and strategic decisions. This is a demanding role and you will make an immediate impact at an exciting and growing company.

Note: The location for this job is virtual and can be anywhere that is close to the Pacific time zone.

Compensation: Competitive, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the management team, including the CEO, CRO, CTO and CFO to advance the company's business analytics function.
  • Work with the management team to identify and track relevant business KPIs for internal analysis and for presenting to the board and to outside stakeholders.
  • Generate reports for the management team using internal tools such as Sisense/Periscope, Google Analytics, internal systems, and then performing the necessary analysis in Excel, Google Sheets or relevant tool.
  • Be proactive in using and creating Sisense/Periscope dashboards and charts to uncover insights that will help management make more informed decisions. Examples of data include revenue per partner, per employer and per market; growth opportunities in terms of products and markets.
  • Identify internal and external sources of data to gather more insights as it relates to market trends and new product opportunities. 
  • Maintain data sources and ensure we are using the correct data for analysis
  • Support the organization by generating ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Work with Marketing to ensure we have the right data in our systems, including Google Analytics, to track campaign performance and outcomes.
  • Perform cohort analysis on various customer segments and products.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

  • Natural curiosity and ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and work independently
  • Experience with Excel, including Vlookup and pivot tables
  • Experience with SQL is a must, and related technologies such as Postgres, Redshift, a major plus
  • Experience with Periscope/Sisense data analysis software or similar tools
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Independent learner when it comes to learning a new industry and the company’s data architecture
  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree (Analytics, Management Science and Engineering, Economics, Finance, Operations Research) or relevant experience
