We are seeking our next Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Emergency & Critical Care. Come work in a vibrant academic program in one of the country’s most thriving Veterinary Schools! Louisiana State University has an open clinical or tenure-track faculty position. The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences is searching for a veterinarian to provide service in small animal emergency and critical care in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. This faculty position will participate in training of Residents, Interns, and veterinary students within the Emergency & Critical Care Unit. This faculty position will also participate in scholarly activities within the Veterinary Clinical Sciences Department and Emergency & Critical Care Unit.
Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Emergency & Critical Care -Tenure Track
50% - Clinical service: Provide clinical expertise and deliver emergency and critical care services for all species.
50 % - Scholarly activity to include teaching and research. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Assistant Professor DVM or equivalent degree
Must have successfully completed a residency training program accredited by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care and must be eligible for board certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care or the European Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (EVECCS)
Associate Professor DVM or equivalent degree
5 years related research/teaching/ clinical experience
Must have board certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care or the European Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (EVECCS)
Full Professor DVM or equivalent degree
8 years related research/ teaching/ clinical experience
Must have board certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care or the European Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (EVECCS)
