PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee air quality (AQ)/greenhouse gas (GHG) environmental compliance with regulatory agencies such as FERC, EPA, NYSDEC, and PADEP
• Administer the requirements of the Clean Air Act, Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program, Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Reporting Programs, and Sustainability Initiatives
• Interpretation of EPA and State (AQ)/GHG environmental regulations, equipment specifications and performance standards, and the development and maintenance of emission reports
• Coordinate, prepare and submit regulatory compliance reporting to state agencies
• Provide guidance and support to multiple engineering and operations project team members on a broad range of project planning and permitting, compliance, construction, equipment retrofitting and commissioning activities
• Lead and facilitate agency and internal compliance inspections and audits
• Manage and direct consultants performing air quality, air permitting and greenhouse gas services
• Oversee and administer environmental compliance education and training of company personnel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering field
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory orders, permit conditions, and standards. Experience with natural gas pipeline and auxiliary facilities a plus.
• Experience or working knowledge of environmental AQ/GHG principles and practices
• Demonstration of strong time management, organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills and computer skills including Word, and Excel
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of EPA, FERC, NYSDEC, PADEP and other federal/state environmental regulations. Prior experience working with regulatory agencies, equipment manufacturers, and/or knowledge of chemistry, combustion equipment, AQ/GHG regulations, EMIS systems, codes and standards and facility construction
• Experience with permitting, plan writing and environmental studies
