Company Overview
The eScience Institute at the University of Washington is focused on empowering researchers and students to address fundamental questions of data science through the use of large, complex and noisy data. The eScience team brings together expertise in advanced statistical and computational techniques including artificial intelligence, machine learning, database management, visualization, and research software engineering. Our diverse group of data scientists have helped developed a suite of education, research, and community-building programs to help make data science accessible to a wide range of audiences.
Company History
The University of Washington’s eScience Institute was founded in 2008 to promote data science adoption and methods development across all areas of science, engineering, arts, and humanities.
