Description

The district is accepting immediate applications for a 4th Grade Teacher with priority given to applications that evidence professional training and personal commitment to the whole range of primary learner.    

The district will expect the successful applicant to demonstrate career interest in academic instruction.  Assignment will include teaching in modernized schools in a collegial environment which supports learning strategies that cross over content subjects and emphasize responsible behaviors from students. The district is committed to high quality classroom instruction in all positions. The person employed will demonstrate a professional interest in the art and science of classroom teaching. The challenge requires one who will address the social/emotional needs of students, teach effective classroom lessons using active learning methods, organize effectively, hold students to high performance and behavior standards and invest time, energy, and service to students in the activity program.  

Requirements

Applicants must possess or be able to obtain before the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, a Washington state teaching certificate with an elementary education endorsement. Preference will be given to applicants who possess an ELL endorsement.
