A leading asset management firm is hiring an Alternative Asset Research Analyst in Hong Kong, focusing on cryptocurrency.

Job Requirements:

1. Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.

2. 2+ years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry (preferred) or 3+ years of equity research experience with a focus on TMT/FinTech sectors.

3. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation.

4. Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts.

5. Proficiency in data processing and analysis using tools such as Excel, Python, or SQL.

6. Practical capability in business development, including client outreach, relationship maintenance, and strategic external engagement.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

8. Experience with crypto-specific analytics tools (e.g., Glassnode, Dune Analytics, or Bloomberg Terminal adapted for digital assets) is a plus.

9. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the digital asset space (e.g., SEC, CFTC guidelines) is a plus.

10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
