Description
The Department of Business Administration in the Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics at Washington and Lee University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Data Analytics. The appointment will begin on July 1, 2027.
We seek candidates with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment and an active research agenda. The successful candidate will teach our core course, Fundamentals of Business Statistics and Data Analytics, develop business analytics electives, and contribute to our growing interdisciplinary Data Science minor and AACSB-accredited business program.

Requirements
A Ph.D. in a relevant field is required by the time of appointment. ABD candidates must present evidence that their dissertation will be defended by July 1, 2027, and have teaching experience. Ability to teach business statistics (with a preference for Python) and demonstrated teaching effectiveness are required.
