As a Senior Industrial Hygienist, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients with occupational a wide variety of health and safety issues in industrial settings. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting clients with health and safety program development, exposure monitoring, recommending appropriate corrective actions including PPE and administrative and engineering controls, auditing, training, and problem-solving. Training and mentoring mid- and junior-level staff will also be an integral part of the responsibility. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional, familiar with highly industrial environments, with a strong ability to work independently, a high degree of integrity, and excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with clients and potential clients to identify their industrial health and safety concerns and needs and develop proposals including work scopes and cost estimates to help address those needs.
- Plan, organize and manage industrial health and safety projects including assigning required technical resources, participating in project teams and providing appropriate QA/QC on the work and the outputs.
- Communicate regularly with clients, implement, and monitor activities to achieve project objectives.
- Develop tools, training, guidance, policies, and programs necessary to meet client needs and improve project execution.
- Train, mentor and develop mid-level and entry-level staff.
- Provide training on industrial health and safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Stay current on industry trends and changes in OSHA regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Health, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- CIH Certification required. CSP Certification is a plus.
- Five to ten years of progressive industrial hygiene experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge and experience in the environmental field a plus.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, project management software tools, and the ability to adapt to software programs as needed to prepare reports.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate technical procedures and instructions within multiple levels of staff, clients, and contractors.
- Demonstrated practical skills in reading and interpreting a variety of reports, blueprints, Inspection slips, inspection requests, diagrams, specifications, codes and regulations, architectural drawings, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,00.00 per year to commensurate with experience
