Job DescriptionPet+ER is interested in adding an experienced Emergency Veterinarian (internship trained or 2+ years in ER) at our beautiful new hospital that opened in Hunt Valley, MD in June 2023. We provide 24-hour emergency and critical care services and the highest level of support possible to our patients and their owners.
Our Hunt Valley hospital operates under the oversight of our Medical Director, Dr. Tanya Tag, who is a boarded criticalist. Our state of the art, new facility is equipped to handle the specific needs of each patient. We have a comprehensive suite of equipment and services all under one roof to handle the most severe animal injuries and illnesses, including digital radiology, in-house lab, ICU, surgery suites, oxygen ward, isolation ward, and high flow oxygen. We also have a team of excellent support staff, including discharge coordinators and patient care coordinators, to provide extra support for our doctors. Our facility is shared with board-certified specialists in:
- Surgery
- Dentistry
- Neurology
- Canine Rehabilitation
- Internal Medicine
- Oncology
- Cardiology
We have a comprehensive suite of equipment and services all under one roof to handle the most severe animal injuries and illnesses, including:
- Digital Radiology
- In-House lab
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Surgery Suites with Ligasure
- Oxygen ward
- Isolation ward
- Around-the-clock care
We have a plentiful and interesting caseload, keeping all our staff engaged and providing many opportunities for employees to challenge themselves. Eligible candidates would be considered for relocation stipend and potential signing bonus. ER surgical experience is required to be considered for this position.

Our compensation model is ProSal, with a base salary range of $140,000 to $185,000 with earning potential of $200,000 - 270,000 when factoring in production. No negative accrual. All full-time staff members receive excellent healthcare benefits including vision and dental, 401K with company match, HSA with $750 company contribution per year, and more.
