Description
- Teach a load of 12 undergraduate and graduate level credit hours per semester in the area of physical education, kinesiology, and human performance.
- Fulfill other faculty responsibilities, including student advisement, scholarly research, grant seeking, creative projects, and participation in University and community service.
- Other related responsibilities:
- Supervise interns in physical education.
- Serve on college and university committees as may be appropriate.
- Complete other appropriate responsibilities related to the total university function.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Earned doctorate in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Human Performance.
- Ability to teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in physical education courses (physical education, health, wellness, fitness, motor learning, adapted physical education, human performance, and related subjects).
- Ability to work effectively with the administration, faculty, staff, and students from within the University.
- Research and/or scholarly activities that are appropriate for the appointed rank.
- Active involvement in community service and student recruitment.
Preferred
- Previous successful teaching experience in higher education.
- Successful grant writing experience.
