Job Duties: 1. Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for Datadog’s AWS Integrations; prioritize integrations and features based on customer requirements, technical feasibility, security
considerations, and business impact. 2. Partner with engineering to design leastprivilege AWS installation patterns (IAM roles and policies) and infrastructurecode paths (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) to enable scalable, enterprise multiaccount deployments. 3. Collaborate with design/UX to specify user workflows for discovery, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting across multiaccount, multiregion environments to simplify setup and day2 operations.4. Identify, evaluate, and launch new AWS observability workloads and revenue opportunities—e.g., Storage Monitoring—by analyzing customer demand and usage data; defining initial product scope and success metrics; preparing the business case (market size, pricing, forecast); and leading crossfunctional execution with Engineering, AWS partners, and gotomarket teams from concept through general availability. 5. Establish and track success metrics (adoption, engagement, alert quality, MTTD/MTTR) to drive experimentation, user research, and datainformed iteration. 6. Engage customers and Solutions Engineering to validate use cases via beta/preview programs, triage issues, and internal operational runbooks and bestpractice guides. 7. Produce and maintain product artifacts (PRDs, prioritized backlogs, release notes, user guidance, and enablement materials) to ensure internal alignment and accurate external communications. 8. Analyze adoption patterns and market/analyst insights to maintain subjectmatter expertise on how customers deploy and scale AWS services. 9. Partner across Datadog product teams to design APIs, data contracts, and shared components that extend AWS coverage and enable downstream products to consume storage telemetry, metrics, events, and alerts reliably. 10. Work with Product Marketing and other gotomarket teams (including cloudprovider partner marketing where applicable) to plan launches, develop positioning and collateral, deliver field enablement, and drive adoption of Datadog’s AWS observability solutions, including Storage Monitoring. 11. May telecommute.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in job offered or in a Product Manager II - related occupation.
