Requirements

What You'll Do:

Leads and manages data science teams and enterprise analytics projects.
Defines data science strategy, technical roadmap, and project priorities.
Oversees team performance, development planning, and succession management.
Ensures delivery of scalable, secure, and ethical data science solutions.
Collaborates with business and technical leaders to align analytics with strategic goals.
Fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Supports recruitment, onboarding, and team growth.
Performs other duties as assigned.
 

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and 7 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and 6 years of relevant experience, or
In lieu of education, 11 years of relevant experience

What You'll Bring:

Demonstrated success in leading data science teams and enterprise programs.
Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and team operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
Experience with machine learning algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
Experience with distributed computing tools such as MapReduce or Spark.
 

What We Prefer:

Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related technical field.
Certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud AI services, MLOps, or other related technologies.
Certifications in project management, agile delivery, product management, or management practices.
Experience developing, evaluating, or integrating generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, natural language processing, computer vision, or predictive analytics solutions.
Experience with AI model selection, prompt engineering, model evaluation, testing, documentation, risk assessment, and responsible AI practices.
Experience translating business or client needs into AI use cases, technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and implementation plans. 
Experience with programming languages and technical tools such as Python, R, SQL, APIs, notebooks, version control, or cloud-based AI services.
Experience supporting AI use cases for transportation, infrastructure, engineering, consulting, or public-sector clients.
